William Touran is an evolved human with the ability to decay anything that he touches. This has killed several people close to him and has caused him to disassociate himself with society and live alone.
About
William's mother Mai arrived in England not long after the Second World War when she decided there was little left for her there. Upon arrival she met a docker called Vincent Touran who slept with her in a drunken encounter. Having wanted a child and a wife, Vincent proposed to Mai three weeks later and she happily accepted. William's childhood was not easy due to financial strain at times, especially when the docks closed and Vincent became injured from spine damage during his final weeks at work. Mai soon became stressed and broke down when she discovered she had become infertile and could not have another child. At this point William turned 15 and he left home, deciding to try and befriend someone with more wealth. He met Sandra who was from a better financial background and the two began a relationship, marrying about a year later. When Mai and Vincent tried to reconcile with William however having spent eight months under marriage counselling, he accidentally killed them with his ability. Terrified, Sandra fled but was accidentally killed as well. Finding himself to dangerous and too scared to kill himself, William turned to the solitary job of gravedigging, and lived on site hoping that he would somehow lose his abilities.
Evolved Human Abilities
William can decay objects through touch. The process is irreversible and involuntary as he does it accidentally to his wife and both his parents. With living creatures it reduces them to a state of death and eventually dust, but objects it simply causes to either break or turn to dust and is often slower depending on the density of the object.
