When the electronics company Hosiden sends a PDA to Yamagato as a gift, Taro claims that it should go to him because it was addressed to him. His co-worker, Jiro, makes a similar claim. Kimiko, upset that Taro and Jiro have forgotten the researchers, accountants, administrators, and Yamagato Industries board members, cuts the PDA in half and gives the two men the halves.
