The word is brigadoon, not Brigadoon, the reference to the musical is purely incidental. Surely if something walks like a duck, acts like a duck and talks like a duck it is a duck! So the Carnival can be described being a brigadoon (any out of the way place could be so described). There are many pages that don't make any sense-at least this one is referring to an actual power, hardly any power is actually given names, this is Heroes, not Top Trumps, and if brigadoon doesn't exist it should at least link to what people think the actual power is called! -- [[User:Counteract|Counteract]] 09:48, 13 June 2010

*That's not how we do things here. The writers never confirmed if they wanted the carnival called a "brigadoon" or not, therefore we cannot speculate and list the carnival as such. I suppose it would be a slightly different issue if brigadoons actually existed, but that's not the case. Furthermore, please don't imply that we're ignorant because we made a decision you weren't fond of. It's not in good spirit and it's bad rhetoric to boot.--{{User:PJDEP/signature1}} 10:30, 13 June 2010 (EDT)

I'm not sure that we really need this page. It's probably better that we just put a note in the bottom of the Sullivan Bros. Carnival page. Something along the lines of "Sullivan Bros. Carnival shares several characteristics with a Brigadoon, a shanty town which travels from place to place by supernatural means." possibly with a link to a wikipedia article, if it has one. What do you think? I'll add the afd tag. --mc_hammark 04:51, 4 June 2010 (EDT)

Ignorance on words here, maybe?

The word is brigadoon, not Brigadoon, the reference to the musical is purely incidental. Surely if something walks like a duck, acts like a duck and talks like a duck it is a duck! So the Carnival can be described being a brigadoon (any out of the way place could be so described). There are many pages that don't make any sense-at least this one is referring to an actual power, hardly any power is actually given names, this is Heroes, not Top Trumps, and if brigadoon doesn't exist it should at least link to what people think the actual power is called! -- Counteract 09:48, 13 June 2010
