* I actually really like this as the main powers page. I wouldn't worry too much about the loss of the section headings; the links will still work, they just won't "jump" to the specific power, but since the list is shorter and much easier to read, that's not much of a concern.--Hardvice <small>(talk)</small> 16:17, 2 December 2006 (EST)

**I think my issue with it is that there's not quite enough space between each power. I'm assuming we could add just a little room (so it's more attractive to my Type-B eyes) between each power - then I'd say fine, let's go with it. :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:39, 2 December 2006 (EST)

* Thanks. I "borrowed" the layout from the episode list of wiki's Avatar: The Last Earthbender (yes, a guilty pleasure). I'm thinking that there are two issues... (1) It's a bit of a pain to make edits to the layout of a row (the main Powers page is easier to set up); this could be solved by moving each power section to a Template like the character box (2) You lose the Table of Contents + the Power#PowerName ability to jump to a particular power; this can be added back using an HTML <A NAME=BlahBlah>...</A> tag pair (the page jumping is handled by the browser), but it's a pain because you have to create it for every item, but not a pain if you define it once in the Template... see where I'm going with this? ;) --Orne 19:27, 2 December 2006 (EST)
** Agree 100%. A template will let us fiddle with the formatting, re-organize the page, put in the anchor tags, etc. Do you want to put it together, or shall I?--Hardvice <small>(talk)</small> 21:01, 2 December 2006 (EST)

Orne, thanks for working on this page. It looks great! I especially love how you incorporated the controlled/automatic/uncontrolled aspect of the powers into the page. Bravo! ... I'm not sure which model is the best for the page though. I like the info here, but I like the layout of the regular Powers page better. Maybe we can incorporate the controlled/automatic/uncontrolled info into the main page? What do you think? - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:54, 2 December 2006 (EST)

 • I actually really like this as the main powers page. I wouldn't worry too much about the loss of the section headings; the links will still work, they just won't "jump" to the specific power, but since the list is shorter and much easier to read, that's not much of a concern.--Hardvice (talk) 16:17, 2 December 2006 (EST)
