==Better name?== |
|||
Is there a better name for the ability? Peter has had many dreams, and most of them aren't precognitive. When Peter dreamed of Nathan's accident, he saw the past, not the future. Yes, Isaac's power is precognition, and he can paint the past, but the name was from a canon source. To date, Peter has had two recurring precognitive dreams (however, the dreams weren't completely precognitive). Peter's dream of himself jumping off a roof (''Genesis'') and Peter's dream of himself exploding (''Fallout'', ''Godsend''). In my honest opinion, the name "precognitive dreaming" doesn't fit the ability at all. I don't have any good suggestions. I can only think of preternatural/supernatural dreaming. --{{User:Ice Vision/sig}} |

** Yeah, what would you call this? Each of Peter's dreams are different from one another. The one with him exploding and everyone there and the one where Nathan turns to Sylar are premonition like, while the one of Nathan's car crash could also be described as "dream seeing." The one where he flies with Charles sounds more like [[dream manipulation]], while the the one with Angela and Charles on the rooftop might not have been this power at all, and instead, as Charles commented, be [[space-time manipulation|time travel]] or astral projection.--{{User:SacValleyDweller/sig}} 18:05, 18 January 2008 (EST) |

Better name?
Is there a better name for the ability? Peter has had many dreams, and most of them aren't precognitive. When Peter dreamed of Nathan's accident, he saw the past, not the future. Yes, Isaac's power is precognition, and he can paint the past, but the name was from a canon source. To date, Peter has had two recurring precognitive dreams (however, the dreams weren't completely precognitive). Peter's dream of himself jumping off a roof (Genesis) and Peter's dream of himself exploding (Fallout, Godsend). In my honest opinion, the name "precognitive dreaming" doesn't fit the ability at all. I don't have any good suggestions. I can only think of preternatural/supernatural dreaming. --Ice Vision (talk)
