Hey there, and welcome to Heroes Wiki! When a page needs to change names, we move the page, we don't cut and paste the information from one page to another. However, we also wait until there is consensus on the new name, especially for ability pages. I don't seen any consensus on a name for Trevor's ability, so the page shouldn't be moved until there is consensus. Thanks for understanding! -- 19:49, 31 May 2009 (EDT) |

What I mean is, sometimes when newcome users arrive, they try to add content to the pages, such as the personality description, thing is, the interpretation of the character's personalities is something that is highly subjective, and therefore speculative, and speculative content isn't listed in main articles. We try to list info in a neutral way, purely descriptive, usually in-universe (though that depends on the page, you'll have to check policy pages for a clearer explanation), a good example of this can be found at Doyle's page. Go to the character page and see its history, see the revision change from Thunder77 to Ryan's, it has one revision from me between them, see one by one. The info by Thunder77 was overall correct, but since it's subjective, it's not listed. Hi, Wiccid. I noticed that you've made several of the same edits to Gina's page, over and over again. When the changes are reverted, you seem to revert them right back...yet I see no discussion about the edits. Some wikis have policies like three edit volleys constitute vandalism. We have no such policy, but I will ask you to please discuss your edits on the discussion page before making any more to that page. Thank you for understanding. -- 21:50, 3 June 2009 (EDT) |

Welcome to Heroes Wiki!
Here are a few links to get you started:
- If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
- If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
- If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
- If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
- Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
- Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
- To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
- You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
- When posting on an article's Talk page you should add --~~~~ or click the signature button.
- This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
- Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
- When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
- If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
- You can also customize your user page if you like.
- Additionally, if you would like to add any fanmade content to the Wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Wiccid/ to the page title when you create the page.
