********** It has been our practice since the wiki began to use the best image of a character. That includes using promotional images that NBC has released from upcoming episodes, provided that no information about the character is spoiled in the image itself. I can recall at least 20 times this has been done, and with a bit of research, I'm sure I could find at least 50 examples of this practice since ''Heroes'' began. We use the best images we have, as soon as they are available. THat way the character is best represented at all times. This is not a practice we will change, nor should we change. However, I can understand if people get upset about knowing that a particular character will be appearing in an upcoming episode, since that information is a spoiler. I can concede that we should leave the new episode information off of the image page until the new episode airs. But the image itself is not a spoiler image--it's just a good image of the character. I will revert it now to the better image, but I will leave the name of the upcoming episode off the page. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 16:33, 15 November 2009 (EST)

Delection

I know that this is an better image but it should be up for delection because it is an spoiler image from episode Thanksgiving.--Yoshi n1 19:51, 14 November 2009 (EST)

  • What information is being spoiled? We routinely use character images from upcoming episodes. If the image of the character had some bit of revealing information in it--like if Lauren was shown kissing Sylar, or if she had glowing eyes--then of course we wouldn't use it. But if it's just a good image of the character, we can use it. We always have. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:40, 14 November 2009 (EST)
    • But the character herself is. Some people thought the Noah/Lauren story line was just thrown in there. So those people would think she isn't coming back. This seems like it would be a spoiler, no?--Catalyst · Talk · HL 21:54, 14 November 2009 (EST)
      • If you're worried about it, you can temporarily remove the episode name from the image's page. Then it's just a nice image of the character. But I really don't even see the harm in keeping the episode name on there. It seems more trouble than it's worth. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:04, 14 November 2009 (EST)
        • I think we should not upload any image(s) from upcoming episodes, because they often spoil to much just by showing then. And besides it ain't that hard to wait for another 1 or 2 weeks, or is it? At least that's my opinion. -- Futurepeter ( U - T - C) 09:18, 15 November 2009 (EST)
