James in Firefly?

It says James did the role as "the bartender" in the Firefly ep Shindig. The only bartender I can find i the one in the bar right at the start of the ep, but he really doesn't look like James. Is it really him? -- Cuardin 06:20, 4 February 2007 (EST)

New Bio

Two issues: first, this bio is word-for-word the same one that's on IMDb and Wikipedia--does anybody care? Second, IMDb has him listed as being born in New York City, but it was changed to Korea. User:Jameskysonlee is James Kyson Lee, I'm assuming he knows best. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:07, 4 March 2007 (EST)

The bio is most likely James's official bio which is given to all media outlets, so since he provided it here, too, it should be ok. We can always add to it if more information arises. As a note, the bio you refer to on Wikipedia was added just today by a user there Jameskysonlee as well. So it's probably him or one of his agents updating his bios. James does not speak Japanese

... because he's Korean. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 00:03, 2 April 2007 (EDT)

  • Precisely. In the interview I read, George Takei had mentioned that he was impressed with his ability to deliver lines in Japanese even though he does not speak it. --Bob 00:42, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
    • Ironically, the Wapanese fanboys love to bitch and moan about how bad James's Japanese is. Of course, they do the same thing about Masi's and George's, both of whom are 1st generation speakers. However, their near-native grasp of a language which they've been speaking since they were in diapers--over seven decades, in George's case--cannot hold a candle to the average Wapanese fan's semester-and-a-half of community college Japanese.--Hardvice (talk) 00:47, 2 April 2007 (EDT)
      • I feel really ashamed that the fact that James was Korean totally passed over my head until I read an interview. He had the look, AND the accent, but I still missed it. And I'm Korean. *Bows head in shame*DannyP 00:01, 14 May 2007 (EDT)

CSI

He was on the November 13th episode. --Snow Leapord 11:55, 14 November 2008 (EST)

James Kyson Lee

The link to his name in the navbox at the bottom needs to be the same as the name of the page to get it to bold (like this Talk:James Kyson), but we do want to change it to James Kyson, or keep it as his credited name and pipe it: James Kyson Lee? -Lөvөl 13:14, 4 June 2015 (EDT)
