Sean leads his men in an assignment with Thompson, Jr. and Donna in West Virginia to capture a plant manipulator by the name of Lewis. Thompson Jr. instructs Fallon and his team to fall back and safeguard his and Donna's extraction point. Away from the two, he and the other agents converse about their pasts, with Fallon remarking that he was a United States Navy Seal before he was "outsourced to the private sector" and worked security at Linderman's casino. Sean orders the team to open fire. However, Lewis sends his thick roots into the ground, stopping the squad's attack. He then covers Tom Drake as he tries to take down Lewis. After Tom's unsuccessful attack, Sean takes Tom's gun, charges at Lewis, and shoots him with almost all of his ammunition. Sean notes to himself that he is saving one bullet in his clip for Gabriel Gray.
