When Hana is captured by Dr. Strauss's henchmen she claims to be a CIA operative and is brought to the U.S. Embassy in Daar Es Salaam, Tanzania. When she learns Mr. Bennet has lied to her, she takes over the building's security system. Hana temporarily takes an Embassy employee hostage, and escapes using an American flag as a means of getting down to the ground.

  • On August 7, 1998, the U.S. Embassy in Tanzania (along with the U.S. Embassy in Kenya) was the focus of an al-Queda terrorist attack.
