Recurring?

Umm, Waffles? Is there some diabolical conspiracy going on involving Waffles that noone's bothered to tell me about? Is it an inside joke with the writers? How is this different from, say, Orange Juice? --Orne 13:49, 18 January 2007 (EST)

I have to say, I love this article, and the accompanying theory. I did take out the "recurring" part, though. :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:58, 18 January 2007 (EST)
OK, we have WAY too much time on our hands.... :P -- Cuardin 17:25, 18 January 2007 (EST)
Yes, this is what happens during a hiatus. Just wait until the summer - then we'll have articles for Peter's hair and Claire's bellybutton. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:33, 18 January 2007 (EST)
Thank you for not making those real red links. I can see the articles already. (I, too, love this article and all it represents. I bet Mr. Muggles's power is to enhance the flavour of nearby waffles.)--Hardvice (talk) 17:38, 18 January 2007 (EST)
What is the theory on Peter's hair? I didn't think there was anything special about it. -- Cuardin 09:27, 19 January 2007 (EST)
Oh, his emo cut? I think it's the source of all his power. ... I'm joking - I was just giving silly examples of equally obscure references (though I still love Waffles!) I may as well have said Micah's zit. :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 10:28, 19 January 2007 (EST)
Micah has a zit?? -- Cuardin 12:13, 19 January 2007 (EST)
*sniff* They grow up so fast these days...--Hardvice (talk) 12:22, 19 January 2007 (EST)
You laugh, but the hair issue actually came up in an interview with Tim Kring. Apparently, the Peter character will be receiving a new look sometime later in the season, and Milo himself isn't fond of the long hair look. --Orne 12:34, 19 January 2007 (EST)
I knew it, man. -- Cuardin 12:51, 19 January 2007 (EST)
I think it odd that folks compare Peter's hair to Emo. From the moment I saw him what I saw was Adam Sandler as Little Nicky! --Waffle Fan 11:50, 7 February 2007 (EST)
Speaking of waffles, do we have a position of the fact that no waffles are actually shown on-screen? Only talked about. How is this connected to Mr. Linderman, the other entity often talked about but never seen? -- Cuardin 17:42, 19 January 2007 (EST)
Mr. Linderman is ... made of waffles?--Hardvice (talk) 17:46, 19 January 2007 (EST)
Perhaps it's time to create a category for "Unseen Characters" for Mr. Linderman, Mr. Petrelli, and ... waffles. :) - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:47, 19 January 2007 (EST)
And Thompson. They're probably the secret waffle brotherhood, the unseen hands which move all the pieces across the board...--Hardvice (talk) 17:50, 19 January 2007 (EST)
  • Mr Linderman is made of waffles? What will we think of next? Heroe 10:45, 21 January 2007 (EST)

--

I think we should give this a few episodes more to see if the writers reveal what is going on, and if they don't write a letter from the wiki where we ask them to explain themselves on this waffles issue. -- Cuardin 06:03, 20 January 2007 (EST)

Hiro's Father and waffles

Although his opinion of waffles is obviously somewhat low, he does not actually say he dislikes waffles nor does he clearly indicate a dislike. I would say his scowl does not appreciably change throughout Hiro's discussion of waffles. --Waffle Fan 07:39, 7 February 2007 (EST)

Hiro says, "You would like [waffles]." Kaito responds, "No, Hiro, I would not." I have also consulted my facial expression analyst, my Japanese inflection researcher, and a renowned waffle culture expert — all concur that Kaito, indeed, dislikes waffles. Fajitas, too. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 08:30, 7 February 2007 (EST)

Grrr... my fault for NOT taping this week. :( Well, Mr. Sulu may not like waffles but it is ok... I will eat his. --Waffle Fan 11:44, 7 February 2007 (EST)
