Assorted Opinions
What I think of every character. Any of them not mentioned are deemed "TOO" minor for me to give a shit about. If you want to know my opinion on minor or unlisted characters, you can ask on my talk.
Another note is, this is all being written during Season 4 (or Volume 4, WHATEVER).
First let's start with the category "Reaccuring".
Sandra Bennet - Not so much stupid as she is a bit ignorant... But severely underestimated. She almost got braindamaged, which I think would have helped Noah really rethink his work ethic. That could have really led to slightly better character developement for the relationship between Noah and Claire. Overall, I like her. A good mother and just the right amount of ignorance to not make her a complete airheaded dumbass.
So, while we're on that particular family...
Lyle was originally too minor for me. But hey, he's not a bad kid. Strangely receptive to Claire's freakishness.
Claire used to be one of my favorite characters untill she went into a full blown "I WANT TO SAVE PEEPOL" mental kick. All that bitching about wanting to be normal and then she goes into emo-mode and wants to toss herself in dangers way. Moron. Which brings us to...
Noah. Damn you, man. While still one of my favorite characters, I don't like his recent "I MUST be bad to save YOOOOOOOUUUUUU" kick. The first time it made a lot more sense when his family was actually stable. So why is he doing the same shit when his wife is a little bit pissed, Lyle is oblivious and Claire would love nothing more for him to just TELL. THE. TRUTH. Maybe she wouldn't mind it as much if he actually said "Yea, I'll be going to round a few people up today", but hell... We'll never know because his lies are sewn too tight with his family.
Ando, a moron in his own right. Severely jealous. In his right senses he could be a cool guy but he's way too fucking eager for that. Will lead to his own, or Hiro's downfall, easily. Speaking of;
Hiro, I like him a lot but so far he screws up everything he does way too often. If only he could be more like "Max" from "Get Smart", where his screw-ups actually lead to a comedic success. As that's what the character was practically designed for... And for fucks sake, get him a power already so he can stop whining.
Brody Mitchum should have died.
Janice? Are you kidding? Was leaving Matt really necessary? He's nice, and SURE he can read your mind but even after you slept with his collegue he was relatively forgiving. You don't find guys like that.
Angela, one scheming summbitch. Both my "like" and "respect" for her during the course of the show has really been going on a roller coaster ride, as it does with some other characters as well.
Pretty much goes for Peter, too. Future Peter was accurate to what I think of him, an extremist. Thinking he HAS to save everyone, and ends up failing in the process. He refuses to be jaded and use his mistakes as experience, and tries to do the same thing over and over. I am, however, proud of his ability to muster up enough balls to shoot his father. That really needed to be done. Kudos, Peter. Ku. Dos.
As for Nathan, I wanted to like him back when he was sort of a good guy, but deep down I knew he'd end up doing what he's doing in Season 4. Anything for power.
Sylar. Hooooo boy. A perfect villain. Intelligent, violent, and has mental capacity (sp?) for compassion. In my opinion I enjoyed him best when he assumed the anti-hero (See: Riddick) role. I think he'd be best suited as a type of good guy that doesn't give a shit what the other characters think of him and how he does things. (See: Hancock. Decent concept, bad execution that could be redone via. Sylar.)
Theories
Nathan Might flip once again back to the percieved "good guys" if he's absolutely exposed.
+ Shades of Gray.
Sylar will fail on his mission to "become" president.
- He was before, in a percieved future, as President Nathan.
+ Heroes is daft, but not THAT daft.
Confirmed
Less of a theory, but more of a HOPE, that Micah comes back as Rebel.
+ Cold Snap.
The skeletons are failed experiments that were executed. + 1961
Failed
There's a good chance Noah might be Rebel now.
+ He's got the resources along with the nefound trust of Danko.
- Claire recieved a text message while Noah was at the table, unless it was timed...
- Cold Snap
Luke is Sylar's brother.
- I think this has been sufficiently disproved... maybe.
Final note: Even if this were vaguely possible I think the show has passed Sylar's father by, so we may never know.
Danko might take the reigns of the operation.
- Shades of Gray.
