Seeing as how my current project is going through [[Category:Stubs]] and cleaning it up; it really isn't helpful for you to create a busload of new stubs. Could you at least try to put a little work into them, such as search for pictures and write a mini-biography? --{{User:ohmyn0/sig}} 17:51, 30 November 2006 (EST)

Revision as of 22:51, 30 November 2006

Hi Orne! Welcome aboard!--Hardvice 14:19, 6 November 2006 (EST)

Mr. Walker

  • Good idea for a cap. Thinking about doing a gallery for Sylar's victims by any chance?--Hardvice (talk) 23:47, 8 November 2006 (EST)
    • Come to think of it, Sylar's victims would make a nice plot point article. We could list some of the speculation re: eating brains and all, and the theory that Sylar killed Chandra.--Hardvice (talk) 23:48, 8 November 2006 (EST)
      • Well, I just wanted to fill in an image of Molly's father, but that's not a bad idea. We've been deleting the shows off our DVR after we watch them, so I've been clipping the trailers and such for images. --Orne 23:51, 8 November 2006 (EST)
        • I've got 'em in iTunes. I can see if I can get some more caps. So far we have Mr. and Mrs. Walker, Future!Isaac, the FBI agent who was guarding Molly, and Fresco the not-a-real-victim-of-Sylar-victim, correct? PS: thanks again for all your hard work (and for filling in the edit summaries--nobody remembers to do that!)--Hardvice (talk) 23:56, 8 November 2006 (EST)
          • I try to remember, Hardvice... I'm getting better! :) (Admin 00:01, 9 November 2006 (EST))
            • I have no room to talk. I had to turn on the reminder in my preferences.--Hardvice (talk) 00:10, 9 November 2006 (EST)
          • Thanks folks, I do what I can.. having a blast filling in the gaps in the story. But for now, I need to get some sleep, work comes early... how else will I edit Heroeswiki during the day?  ;) --Orne 00:14, 9 November 2006 (EST)

Timelines

  • If it would be helpful, I could make this timeline extension available here. (Admin 09:49, 9 November 2006 (EST))
    • Looks interesting, but I was thinking more of a list of dates for now. I'd try to find a screen cap of Hiro concentrating really hard for the image, and a memorable quote of Hiro saying how time travel acts in a circle. For external links, I'd put in a link to Brief History of Time or maybe The Fabric of the Cosmos --Orne 09:58, 9 November 2006 (EST)
      • I really admire the timeline you have ... any thoughts of putting it on as a regular page? I'd love to help if I can ... - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:12, 29 November 2006 (EST)
        • I second that opinion. It's a very good idea. (Admin 23:21, 29 November 2006 (EST))

Renames

  • Without some sort of naming convention, it is nearly impossible to accurately link articles. See Lostpedia's page authoring for examples.
    • Since you asked me to look, it appears that you are in violation of Rule #1 of the WikiPedia General Conventions, don't capitalize second and subsequent words. We can't help that we have so many articles with "the" in front of them, so maybe those articles can be renamed. --Orne 23:42, 14 November 2006 (EST)
      • I may have been a little overzelous, but you might want to relook up the term Proper Noun. Most of them are indicating specific entities.--Blackthir13en 01:00, 15 November 2006 (EST)

Howdy

  • I cleaned up the redirects for Hiro and Genesis. Can you take a look and let me know what you think?
    • I like it!
  • I added Category: Timeline for November 8th if you want to use it for your timeline project.
    • Thanks! I have a few ideas floating...

--Hardvice (talk) 18:35, 9 November 2006 (EST)

Page Width

  • When you get a chance, take a look at Portal:Plot Points Test and let me know how it looks.--Hardvice (talk) 13:00, 15 November 2006 (EST)
    • It all fits perfectly in my browser. Thanks! --Orne 14:39, 15 November 2006 (EST)
      • The only problem is it doesn't scale up for other resolutions. I'll switch the portals for plot points and locations for now until we come up with a better fix, though.--Hardvice (talk) 14:49, 15 November 2006 (EST)
