Consensuses are sometimes required where sufficient information is not available to make a decision
Use
Consensuses should only be set up and used in situations where the information available is not enough to make a decision. The consensus should run for a minimum of 24 hours before a decision is made. Providing all the options are legitimate, the majority rules.
To ensure a fair decision is made there should be 10 votes or more before the consensus is closed. There should be some discussion about the topic on the topic's talk page before a consensus is created.
The Consensus should -
- Have at least 2 options available with space to add additional options
- Run for a minimum of 24 hours
- Include a minimum of 10 votes
