:{{minus}} It could be some sort of psionic force. Telekinesis can put a strain on the user, as shown when Peter opened the Company's vault, he got a nosebleed. Maybe that force stems from actual biochemical energy, such as ATP.

::{{note}} Sylar has been shown creating massive amounts of kinetic and electric energy, as well as regenerating from massive wounds instantaneously, in the space of a few hours. The amount of overall energy for this would be immense, and given that Sylar does not seem to eat or sleep more then the average human, it is unlikely he would have enough biochemical energy to supply his abilities with.

| Emma's ability allows her to convert sonic energy into other forms. | None | + At the end of Hysterical Blindness, Emma carved a gash into the wall of her apartment while playing on a cello. She may have done so by converting the sound (which she perceives as light) into kinetic force.
- Sound is a mechanical wave, it can carry a concussive force, it doesn't need to be converted into another form of energy. The damage Emma did to her wall could simply be because the sound was focused and directed at that portion of the wall.
• This is science fiction/fantasy. Many abilities break the known laws of physics.
+ Telekinesis has no measurable signs of usage (others than objects moving around/being cut up). The kinetic energy used to move the object isn't being transformed from light/heat/sound/electricity/etc., but it has to come from somewhere.
| Emma's ability is similar to sound manipulation, except that she can manipulate all sound, not just her voice. | None. | + She was shown making a crack in a wall with her ability. This may be because she magnified the sound she created to the point where it could cause physical damage, similar to the way Echo and Jesse could magnify their voices to throw objects backward. |
