  "I managed to cheat the first two panels by using an...image built up from a bunch of photos that I took. So, while there is no drawing in there, it is still a piece of Photoshop artwork."
• 
  Jason said he received a lot of criticism for drawing a teenager who looked old. "I'm trying to draw a young, withered person and that (to me) ends up kinda looking like an older person. Given that he was never mentioned to be a teenager in the actual story, I'm not too stressed about it."
• 
  "I really like the dynamic colour scheme from panel three. The moonlight and the lighting make for an interesting palette. I do regret not putting more medical equipment in the room, though."

  "I realised that the stage I spent the least time on was the most important. What I mean is the layouts. That little sketch up there is where I do all my careful planning of the story to come."
• 
  Jason feels that Blackout, Part 2 was much more clear and concise, and a lot less confusing than Blackout, Part 1. He credits this to more time planning his work.
• 
  "The only thing I would have changed, in retrospect, is panel is two of this page. I feel that the patient's drama is a little bit too high. In retrospect, I would have drawn something quieter, more introspective. Perhaps a little bit more angsty than angry."

  "The Primatech paper salesman is just that: a generic Primatech salesman. He is not anyone that I know of. I just invented his look for the story. I did steal the logo from the official site, though."

  "I really like my likeness of Mohinder on panel five. I think it's a good piece of performance."

  "I had fun on the crazy blood splatter on panel three. I'm also really proud of that little blur effect on the salesman's right hand. It's very cinematic to me."

  "I was really proud of coming up with this Easter Egg. It was so tough for me to come up with anything as I've mentioned in the interview."

  "In retrospect my homage to Tim Sale's classic Sylar hunting Claire painting is probably my favourite Easter Egg and after the baby Nathan playing with the aeroplane and Angel."

  "Meanwhile, I heard that Tim Sale was doing a homage to Nosferatu."
