Jeremy Greer was a teenager who had been "bagged and tagged" by Noah Bennet in the past. He was an evolved human with the ability to heal living things as well as kill them, through physical contact.

Character History

Tabula Rasa

Hoping to save the life of Hiro Nakamura, Peter Petrelli and Noah Bennet teleport to Jeremy's home in order to ask for his help. They discover that everything around the house has died and wonder if Jeremy has somehow caused it. They search the house and find Jeremy's parents dead. Jeremy then begins to shoot at Noah and Peter. Peter searches for a way to the upper floor and Jeremy holds Noah at gunpoint, warning him not to come any closer. Noah asks why he needs to stay away and Jeremy explains that when he touches things, they die.

Noah realises that Jeremy accidentally killed his parents and tries to reassure him by telling him that he can also heal things. Jeremy does not believe that he can and Peter teleports in, startling him. The gun goes off and Peter is shot in the chest. As Noah holds him, he begs Jeremy to heal him. Jeremy insists that he can't but Noah asks him to try. Jeremy concentrates and is able to heal Peter's wound. Later, the police arrive and Noah informs Jeremy that he made it look like his parents died by carbon monoxide poisoning. He apologises to Jeremy and promises that he will stay and help him learn how to control his ability.

Strange Attractors

The police imprison Jeremy despite the fake evidence Noah created to prove his innocence, as Jeremy had previously had a record. They say they will only let him go with his next of kin. He was also infamous in the town for killing animals. Noah forges documents so that Tracy is thought to be his aunt. Tracy convinces Jeremy to let him be released. When he is released, a mob gathers around him. One of them tries to assult Jeremy and and he uses his powers to kill the man. Instead of attempting to heal him, he goes back into the jail, believing he is a murderer. After Noah and Tracy leave, an angry police officer who saw Jeremy kill the man with his ability chains Jeremy to a truck. He gives Jeremy a chance to kill him, but he refuses. The officer tells the trucker driver to start driving. Later, Noah and Tracy find his dead body in the road and mourn his death.

Evolved Human Abilities

Jeremy had the ability to increase or decrease the healing process. If he increasesd the healing process in other people, then their wounds heal instantaneously. Jeremy was also able to kill living things simply by touching them. The true process of how he did this is currently unknown.

Notes

• When Jeremy was bagged by The Company while he was thirteen, the Company noted his ability as the power to heal living things. They did not note his ability to kill through touch. Whether they were unaware of this power at the time is unknown.
• According to his file, Jeremy was 5'5" ft, weighed 135 lbs, has brown eyes and had light brown hair in 2005.
• In the episode Strange Attractors, Noah Bennet states that Jeremy is 17 years old. Jeremy's birthday was on October 14, 1992 and he died in 2008, making him 16 at the time of his death.
