While hiding from Linderman, Brian makes his home in an abandoned nuclear fallout shelter. Broke, Brian spends his days drinking and working at a Vegas casino. From the shelter, Brian watches television and learns of Linderman's death, watches the Corinthian Casino be razed, and writes in his blog.
