When "future" Hiro Nakamura tracks down Peter Petrelli in the subway, he comments that Peter looks different without his scar.
About
Collision
A darker, older version of Hiro Nakamura has traveled back in time to visit Peter Petrelli in the subway in New York, NY. Looking over Peter, Hiro comments that Peter looks different without his scar. No more information on size, shape or placement are given.
Homecoming
Sylar has been chasing Peter all over the Union Wells High School. Finally, they confront each other at the top of the bleacher steps. In the struggle, they lose their balance and topple over 40 feet to land on the pavement below.
Claire Bennet runs up to Peter's body. Peter suddenly starts to cough, and he sits up. He twists his his broken bones back into place, and the cuts on his face begin to mend. There is a noticable cut on his face (similar to Matt's mark on his neck) that has not healed.
Fallout
By the time Peter is interrogated by Audrey Hanson and Matt Parkman at the police station, it is clear that all of his facial injuries have healed.
Memorable Quotes
"I'm sorry if I scared you. You look different without your scar."
"I don't know you, buddy."
"Not yet."
- - Hiro Nakamura, Peter Petrelli (in Collision)
Notes
- Kristin Veitch of E!, who made a cameo appearance in "Collision" as the roulette dealer, suggests that Peter's scar might be "because Milo Ventimiglia might be shaving his head at some point in the series. Whether this is meant to indicate that Milo himself has an already-extant scar which is being written in, or, as some fans have suggested with tongue-in-cheek that Hiro will be shaving Peter's head for him and notice the scar, is presently unclear.
