Peter receives a scar at some point in the future.
|First appearance:||Five Years Gone|
A darker, older version of Hiro Nakamura has traveled back in time to visit Peter Petrelli in the subway in New York, NY. Looking over Peter, Hiro comments that Peter looks different without his scar. No more information on size, shape or placement are given.
An agent calls Peter "scar-boy".
"I'm sorry if I scared you. You look different without your scar."
"I don't know you, buddy."
- It is unclear how Peter can scar since he has absorbed Claire's rapid cell regeneration. Writers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite said about Peter's scar, "First, it is not a mistake, Peter can regenerate, but he still has the scar. Secondly, we'll show you how later on in the series. We promise". Since Peter later lost this power to his father Arthur Petrelli, this may be no longer an issue. Since Heroes was cancelled, it was never explained how he gained the scar.
- Two different future Peters have the scar.
- According to Greg Beeman's blog, Wendi Allison is responsible for applying Peter's scar on Milo Ventimiglia.
- While trying to stop Arthur, Peter suffers a deep scrape from a telekinetic attack across the side of his face. (Our Father)
