Annie was Claire's roommate who mysteriously committed "suicide".

Character History

Orientation

Annie greets Claire when she finds her in her dorm room. She expresses her surprise at Claire for getting into college with just a GED but decides to befriend her none the less. Annie shows Claire her "career map" of her life and future and suggests that Claire make one as well. Annie later takes Professor Fenton's algebra class and calls Claire over to sit with her. When Claire has a nightmare after falling asleep she awakens and tells Annie that the class isn't for her.

Annie later meets Noah Bennet and tells Claire that she will meet up with her at the mixer. The two do meet up and Claire introduces Annie to Gretchen Berg. The three play Guitar Hero III and Gretchen begins to improve. Annie leaves the mixer and Claire later discovers that she has committed suicide and jumped out of their dorm window.

Jump, Push, Fall

Claire doesn't believe Annie committed suicide and is shocked when an Arlington detective shows her Annie's suicide note as she clearly remembers there being no note the night before. The next day Claire tells Sandra that she told Annie's parents about the note. Gretchen meets with Claire and also believes that Annie would never have killed herself, and so the two plan a way to figure out what happened. Claire later throws herself out her window to test the theory and after regenerating, she determines that Annie apparently did commit suicide after all.

Ink

Noah tells Claire that he has heard Annie committed suicide. Claire apologizes for not calling Noah about it.
