Candice's power of illusion works in such a way that an illusion created often enough can become subconscious, and so require no conscious control to create it.	None	+ When Niki knocks her unconscious in How To Stop An Exploding Man, the illusions of Jessica and Micah disappear, but Candice herself remains in her "slim" form rather than reverting to the original form seen in Betty. • This could simply be a writing inconsistency - maybe it hadn't been decided at that point that Candice was not in her original form - or a casting inconsistency - maybe the producers didn't want to cast another actress just to play Candice's unconscious body. • Having a different actress to fall would have confused viewers who thought that Candice's "slim" form was her true self. If she changed into a different person, people may have presumed that the woman pretending to be Jessica was not Candice. Also, Candice had already revealed her obesity to Micah when he says "I have a cousin who eats like you, he's huge!" She replies: "So am I", implying that it is unlikely to be a writing/casting inconsistency given that her true form was already decided. + Future Sylar in Five Years Gone is able to fly and phase while holding the illusion of him being Nathan. + The power could be simply a manifestation of her "perception" of reality. When making an illusion she simply imposes her perception onto of the fact. For most illusions she would be enforcing something she is constantly aware is false. But for something as personal as her own appearance (considering how much she hated her true form) she would hold the false image as "real".
Candice's power of illusion works using a form of telekinesis.	None	• It affects all the five senses. - This can not be true because Candice/Betty can only have one power. • The theory is that Candice's ability is illusion through telekinesis, not illusion and telekinesis. - How can telekinesis affect senses? It's rather telepathy. • She could be subconsciously telekinetically manipulating photons, and the rest of the five senses. Though it is much more likely that she is telepathically creating illusions through direct influence upon the brain.

This ability works by manipulating reality, superimposing images, sounds, etc. from parallel dimensions.	None	+ There are an infinite number of alternate realities for every reality. For example, when Betty produced an illusion of a cheerleader developing spontaneous lesions and tumors, she could have 'pulled' an image from a reality in which some form of fast-acting disease struck that cheerleader at that moment. + This would explain how illusions are effective against cameras.
