** While that looks kind of cool, we don't have much information on a lot of the photos, and the page would be astonishingly long if we did that for every photo. I think the real question isn't about the format (galleries are fine), but about making sure the photos are consistently organized the same way (by possessor or subject). You bring up a good point about some photos having multiple subjects. I think we could just include them under one subject and be OK.--[[User:Hardvice|Hardvice]] [[User talk:Hardvice|(talk)]] 12:40, 26 October 2007 (EDT)

Organization

  • Some of these seem to be organized by the person who possesses the photos and some do not. (For one thing, I'm not sure why the photos of D.L.'s crew, etc., from Snapshots are listed under Niki). We should probably decide to either organize them by possessor or by subject, and stick to whichever we choose. Also, it's not entirely clear if some of the ones from GNs are photos and not paintings, drawings, etc. (particularly some of the stuff from the string web).--Hardvice (talk) 08:11, 21 October 2007 (EDT)
    • I'd prefer to organize them by subject since the possessor is not always clear, but I'm certainly open to either way (or another way if somebody suggests a good one). In any case, it should be standardized and references should be added. I'm going to mark it as not meeting our wiki's standards. I don't have time to fix it now, so this the flag will be a reminder for later. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:16, 21 October 2007 (EDT)
  • We could use a template like this:

In this photo: Hiro Nakamura, Charlie Andrews
Taken on: April 24, 2006
Taken at: Burnt Toast Diner
Taken by: Lynette
Owned by: Burnt Toast Diner
Location: Midland, TX

and put each blurb under the person who own the photo. If it was sorted by the subject of the photo, the same photo might appear for more than 1 time. 08:51, 26 October 2007 (EDT)
