OK, I haven't actually seen the incident, but I've read that Sylar attempted to steal Illusion from Candice. Apparently he didn't get it, whether due to damaging her brain when he killed her or some other factor (like her deceiving him into attacking an illusion instead of her true self) is unclear, and I'm further from knowing what happened than most of us.
