*Personally, I don't think the name matters so much. Assailant sounds just as good as assassin. However, the TV news report did say that Nathan was shot by an "unknown assassin." Also, I find it hard to believe that Nathan could survive two gunshots in the chest. It looked like he got shot in his heart and his right lung (ouch...). Perhaps Nathan is revived, but he seems very dead right now. Of course, there is no confirmation for any of this.--Ice Vision 17:57, 6 December 2007 (EST)

** I double-checked. You're right, the new report did say "assassin". Can we use that as a confirmation of Nathan's death? If not, I think the fact that the name is technically incorrect deserves at least a note.--MiamiVolts (talk) 19:32, 6 December 2007 (EST)

Guesses on Nathan's Assassin?

I was thinking this over for the longest time trying to see if this assasin was anyone we know and i only came to the conclusion now that i think i know who it may be... so im gonna state my thought and please feel free to post your opinions.

I think it was Noah Bennet. I only think this because Nathan, Matt, and Peter were being filmed when they were talking about bringing it public... and since the surveillance belonged to the company, there were really only two people who have high enough order to do anything about it. Angela and Bob. And since a while before the episode Nathan said he would work for Bob again... what better way to get back in the grove than having enough experience than to assassinate someone and get out cleanly? Noah "is a pretty good shot" and could have easily pulled that off.

Thats my guess... any others?--.Vault 20:39, 4 December 2007 (EST)

  • I'm pretty sure it'll be Noah. It will certainly be a nice bookend to the "deal" he made with the Company. Afterall, we really don't know the details of that deal, but Noah seemed pretty torn up about it. I'm curious to learn what Angela has to do with it. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 20:41, 4 December 2007 (EST)
    • I posted mine about West beeing the assassin in the apropriate section but I'm not very sure it is accurate héhé ^^ --  (talk) 10:19, 6 December 2007 (EST)

Assassin vs. Assailant

I think assassin is the wrong word. We didn't get confirmation that Nathan was dead either at the scene or in the news report. Plus, I don't think Nathan would call the person *his* assassin.--MiamiVolts (talk) 16:32, 6 December 2007 (EST)
