Preperation
- X-Acto knife
- Model paint or other plastic craft paint
- "DC Unleashed" DEO Agent Female [1]
- "Marvel Secret Invasion" expansion Tombstone figurine [2]
- Size 4 flatbrush (I used the & Langnickel Sable hair)
- Size 1 pointed round tip paintbrush (I used the & Langnickel Camel hair)
- Paper towels & solution for clean-up
- Newspaper
- Paint thinner
- Superglue
1. Lay out the newspaper, and pick out the basic red, white and black paints. Set aside the thinner and a bright yellow paint for later.
2. Using the knife, seperate the DEO Agent figurine's torso from her legs.
2.1. You can slice the figurine in half and then remove the coat from the legs by making an incision between the tail of the coat and the left hip.
2.2 You can also make a circular slice from hip to hip, trying to seperate the legs without touching the coat. You'll need to seperate the coat from the hip before you attempt this.
3. Now, remove the bottom of the combat dials from both the Tombstone and DEO Agent figurines. Take the Tombstone dial and attach it to the DEO Agent. Glue is not neccessary, dials should click into place easily.
Paint
1. Using each color in the order below, paint the figurines using size 1 and size 4 paintbrushes. You should only need to go over the pieces once, as the paint is thick; try to paint as smoothly as possible. Use the paint thinner if the paint gets too thick.
2. Clean up your brushes, paints and any messes you might have made. Allow time for paint to dry completely. Mine took two hours.
3. After the paint has dried, use the superglue to reconnect the torso to the legs.
Black
Paint the pants completely black.
Color over the Experience ring, name, team, and set symbol. There should only be the cost and combat symbols remaining on the dial.
White
Using the size 1 brush, paint the sleeves and the areas around the hair and neck white. Remember to use the thinner if you misstep and recolor the face, hands, or gun.
Switch brushes to the size 4 and paint the remainder of the coat. There are thin pieces where her belt is that have a tendency to stick together; try to keep them seperated as it's drying or use the knife to reseperate them later.
If you want, you could try to label the HeroesClix with the size 1 brush, but this is unneccessary.
Red
After the white has dried, use the size 1 brush to paint the shirt red.
Yellow
Underneath the hair has been painted brown, for some reason. So, you will need to take the size 1 brush and paint over it with yellow. Because it's unlikely you will have the match for the original paint, go ahead and paint over all the hair.
You may also clean up any white spots that might have occured.
Combat Dial Information
There are seven clicks before KO.
