If you use the screencap site, click on the picture. A bigger version will pop up, and that's the one that would be best to upload. Also, the one thing I didn't mention earlier is using the screencaps from that site also requires that you remove the website name and watermark from the picture. You can get most by cropping, but after that, ya gotta photoshop, smudge, or somehow fanagle the pic. If you can't get it perfectly, that's fine, somebody else will take care of it... But it is a good idea to get the full-size pic. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:04, 9 March 2007 (EST) |

* I'd also add that, if you're using a digital file, either transferred from a DVR or downloaded from a P2P site, I can't endorse a piece of software called Virtual Dub highly enough. It lets you step through the file frame-by-frame, and there are literally dozens of filters available to allow you to do anything from color and gamma correction to resizing and cropping to dewatermarking on the fly. You can even export clips in just about any format, including animated GIFs. It's pretty amazing software, and it's free.--Hardvice (talk) 13:52, 9 March 2007 (EST) |

Screencaps part 2
If you use the screencap site, click on the picture. A bigger version will pop up, and that's the one that would be best to upload. Also, the one thing I didn't mention earlier is using the screencaps from that site also requires that you remove the website name and watermark from the picture. You can get most by cropping, but after that, ya gotta photoshop, smudge, or somehow fanagle the pic. If you can't get it perfectly, that's fine, somebody else will take care of it... But it is a good idea to get the full-size pic. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 11:04, 9 March 2007 (EST)
