While the scene of Peter absorbing Ted's ability in The Hard Part almost certainly happened in the Five Years Gone timeline, this is technically speculation. It's pretty much the same as Sylar (explosion future) with precognition and induced radioactivity. - Josh (talk/contribs) 01:33, 1 December 2008 (EST)

* I'm not understanding how that's the same. I'm also not understanding how Hiro and Ando visiting the future changed Peter meeting Ted on the same day. -- 01:41, 1 December 2008 (EST)

FPeter fire from Meredith Confirmation

Level-3 Canon citation: Just documenting it here that Future Peter got Pyrokinesis from Meredith Gordon, --Confirmed by writers/producers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coleite in the CBR "BEHIND THE ECLIPSE Summer Spectacular, Part I", July 1, 2008, when they said (here), quote: "Peter absolutely got his power from her" . --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 07/2/2008 15:02 (EST)

  • Excellent job documenting this here for posterity and in your edit summary. :) (Admin 15:04, 2 July 2008 (EDT))
    • You've done a man's job. Question though;does it go in the pyrokinesis page too?--Citizen 15:22, 2 July 2008 (EDT)
      • Hey, I just whipped up a new template for canonicity for things like this, couldn't find that we had one, so I thought I'd try it out here first. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 07/2/2008 15:38 (EST)

Illusion

Future Peter uses Illusion to hide his scar and change his outfit in both The Second Coming and The Butterfly effect, right? Is this the right place to add it or are we going to split up the two different Future Peters.--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:33, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

  • I'm not sure it's illusion. It's not the same effect at all, and he also has the strange ability to put people into other people's bodies. So I would hesitate to say it's illusion.--Bob (talk) 01:37, 23 September 2008 (EDT)
    • I don't see anything different between Candice's and Peter's illusion; but regardless of the effect or method, it's still illusion. It's not mental based like Maury Parkman's ability cause Peter morphs his appearance outside of other people's presence. Also, body cohabitation is a separate ability, but my original question still stands: do we want to keep the same list for both Future Peters?--MiamiVolts (talk) 01:48, 23 September 2008 (EDT)
    • It's illusion. The effect is the same as the one Candice used (after they changed it from the original flashy one which hid Simone). (Admin 01:56, 23 September 2008 (EDT))
  • On a related note, I don't think we can say for sure that Future Peter got his ability from the Future Sylar of Five Year's Gone. I think it should be listed as unknown.--MiamiVolts (talk) 02:30, 23 September 2008 (EDT)
    • Agree. The issue also brings up the idea of another page for Future Peter. It's even more evident in the Future Hiro that we saw in tonight's episode, who was markedly different than the Future Hiro we all know and love. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 02:37, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

Peter Petrelli (Future) (I)

If this is used for Peter Petrelli (future) (I) shouldn't be renamed to FuturepetermimickedI or Futurepetermimicked(I)? Then a second template is created for Peter Petrelli (future) (II)? --Snow Leapord 09:05, 23 September 2008 (EDT)

The Hard Part

While the scene of Peter absorbing Ted's ability in The Hard Part almost certainly happened in the Five Years Gone timeline, this is technically speculation. It's pretty much the same as Sylar (explosion future) with precognition and induced radioactivity. - Josh (talk/contribs) 01:33, 1 December 2008 (EST)
