Exposed
After Samson sold Gabriel for money, he enters his car. After having an argument with Gabriel's mother, he slices open her head and leaves the dead body in the parking lot of Big Jim's Franks & Fries.
Shades of Gray
When Samson Gray tells Sylar that people are only good for disappointment, Sylar asks if that is why Samson killed his mother and abandoned him. Samson says that he doesn't remember, because it didn't matter to him.
Pass/Fail
Sylar tells Claire that they have abandonment issues from parents who didn't want them, meaning his mother.
