''Monsters'' is definitely the first novel with no evolved humans. That's good trivia. But I took out the link to ''[[Heroism is Found in the Heart]]'' for a few reasons. First, we just don't need the link here since this trivia is about ''Monsters'', and not a future graphic novel. Second, Kaito appears in ''HiFitH''. He's not a confirmed evolved human, but he has talked a lot about being "powerful" and that Hiro inherited his abilities, etc. That, coupled with the fact that he demonstrated an ability in a deleted scene, I just think it's best not to open a can of worms. I know there are a million arguments to say why Kaito does not have a power (and a million more to support the idea that he does), but that's exactly my point. It's just best not to bring attention to a somewhat controversial and unconfirmed idea, especially when the link to the second novel ultimately isn't needed on this page. -- {{User:Ryangibsonstewart/sig}} 01:03, 19 October 2009 (EDT) |

Easter Eggs
- The easter eggs are already linked in the sidebar. Do we need them in the body of the article as well?--Hardvice (talk) 14:33, 12 December 2006 (EST)
- I think we went through this before in the past and determined links in the sidebar were sufficient. Plus since NBC has them on their site I think we should just link to theirs (like we currently do in the sidebar). Not because of bandwidth, but because it makes it less likely that there will be a copyright issue. (Admin 14:45, 12 December 2006 (EST))
- Completely agree it's superfluous. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:29, 12 December 2006 (EST)

No evolved humans
"Monsters is the first graphic novel in which no character is an evolved human." ~ Seeing as there were no graphic novels before this one, isn't this information kind of unnecessary? Ditto "Monsters marks Mr. Bennet's first appearance in a graphic novel." Branfish 11:36, 19 January 2007 (EST)
- I was kind of wondering the same thing.--Hardvice (talk) 12:09, 19 January 2007 (EST)
- Good point. I think what I was going for was that this is the only GN without an evolved human, and I was allowing for the possibility of similar GNs in the future - I'll change the wording now. As for the Bennet reference, since he's the character that appears most in the GNs, I think this mention serves as a running count. I think it's fine, but if someone else would like to reword it, I'm not opposed. - RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:02, 19 January 2007 (EST)
- The Heroism is Found in the Heart series does not feature any evolved humans, so I'll update the note. However, I have a feeling we'll learn of Kaito's power soon enough, rendering the update unnecessary. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 03:31, 6 October 2007 (EDT)
