WILL THEY SAVE THE CHEERLEADER AND SAVE THE WORLD? THE 'HEROES' EXPERIENCE DANGEROUS AND DEFINING MOMENTS IN THEIR LIVES -- As H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) tries to protect his daughter by any means, Claire's (Hayden Panettiere) high school homecoming turns into a frightening night. Unconfirmed Spoilers

• Peter dies. However, since he is in the vicinity of Claire, he will come back to life. This will lead him discovering his true powers of mimicking rather then flight.
• Peter is arrested.

Fan Theories

• The police mistake Peter to be Sylar
• Peter acts abnormally in the presence of Sylar and becomes violent
• Mr. Bennet is badly injured or possibly killed
• Peter dying would also possibly explain "the scar" in which Hiro sees in his future travels.
• Sylar hears about a cheerleader's heroism during the train wreck, and concludes that she has special powers. When he arrives at the homecoming, he overhears Jackie claiming that she was the one who saved the person from the train (recall that she was going to use it to promote herself as homecoming queen). Sylar kills Jackie and decapitates her, so Jackie is really the cheerleader seen in Isaac's paintings. Sylar quickly realizes that he has killed a non-evolved human, and comes after Claire. At this point, Peter arrives, and the smackdown begins. Cut to "Six months ago" and two weeks of agonizing cliffhanger  :)
