Gretchen Berg knew about Claire's abilities, so she murdered Annie to see if Claire can heal by telling her about the Jump, Push, Fall theory. Which she was lead by Samuel.	In Jump, Push, Fall Gretchen watches Claire fall.	+ Claire couldn't find the suicide note in the first place because it was put there by Gretchen after Claire left. - That is as much speculation as the theory in itself.
Gretchen Berg has the ability to control people's emotions, and that was what made Annie jump with it to be Claire's roommate.	She seems a little off and obsessive.	+ Claire said she couldn't find a suicide note. + She is very happy and obsessive to hang out with Claire. + As we know she'll kiss Claire later, a possible indication that she would do this so she could have her.
