Isaac Mendez creates a series of four prophetic paintings that depicts his own death. In the paintings, the top of his head is cut off and his brain is removed. A gun sits next to his corpse.

- The images in the "Isaac Dead" series match the murder scene that Hiro Nakamura discovers when he visits Isaac's apartment on his very first trip to the future (in Don't Look Back).
- According to corinthianlasvegas.com, the series of paintings are part of Linderman's archives, and are titled Inevitable.
- According to Tim Sale, there's "one more [painting] in the series, but it's secret."
- Tim Sale posted full-size black and white versions of the first four paintings. Because Tim is colorblind, Dave Stewart does the coloring.
