Ability mimicry

Ability to: Make the user able to absorb other powers by touch.

Ability mimicry allows the user to absorb the abilities of other evolved humans by physically touching them.

Characters

Limits

Nick Sylar

Nick Sylar can only absorb an ability if he touches the target's skin. After Nick replicates an ability, it takes him a a couple of minutes to recover before he can mimic another one. The evolved human which Nick copies his ability doesn't lose it after Nick touches him. He chooses to absorb a new ability or not.

This ability is very similar to ability replication, but the difference is that this ability allows the user to hold as many abilites as he wants.

Nick developed his ability to the point when he is able to detect the ability of an specific evolved human. This helps him to find better the abilities he wants.

Altes

Altes doesn't need skin-to-skin contact to absorb an ability. He is able to do it through clothes and even armor. Using of this power is somewhat painful, but with further development it became simply uncomfortable. When Altes absorbs an ability, his eyes glow in a color specific for the power he's absorbing. For example, Altes's eyes glew deep blue when absorbing electric manipulation; gray when absorbing shadow mimicry; golden when absorbing healing. Unlike Nick Sylar, he cannot detect powers in other evolved humans.
