Heroes Graphic Novel from DC comics -Lөvөl 17:01, 30 August 2007 (EDT)

  • Good find. I'll upload a picture and start an article--I think it's about time. I don't think the picture they have posted is really the actual cover. For one, it's a modified image of Tim Sale's work. Second, the blurb itself says that there will be two covers, one by Jim Lee and one by Alex Ross. It's also good to hear Issues 1-34 will be included. I don't know why it was misreported earlier. 34 makes sense. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:10, 30 August 2007 (EDT)
    • My best guess -- 43 is 34 transposed. It was probably a typographical error! :) Disney42 19:34, 30 August 2007 (EDT)
  • I don't know if they will provide international shipping... If not, I hope that one of you will be nice enough to buy me the GNCollection and send to me. I'll pay him back of course using paypal for exemple... :) I really want one book ! --  (talk) 04:20, 31 August 2007 (EDT)
    • I am definitely buying this--Japanimation 00:21, 5 November 2007 (EST)
      • I have it already. It's very nice to have and I'm hoping to use it to turn some people onto the graphic novels who prefer a physical copy to the online versions. (Admin 16:43, 21 December 2007 (EST))
  • Heeeh! I almost had forgot that this book would be release. I'am about to buy it right now then! Bleh! :) --  (talk) 20:28, 27 December 2007 (EST)
    • I've got it too... an excellent read. I hadn't read any of the GNs before I read this book, but they're excellent. :D--  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  05:25, 28 December 2007 (EST)

Name

Is there a name for the book? Jeph Loeb called it "Heroes Hardback" in an interview. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 03:38, 22 November 2007 (EST)

  • the spine simply reads "Heroes Volume One - Titan Books". by the way highly recommend this book, each issue comes with a ninth wonders comic book cover based on a Tim Sale piece. Ehsteve23 09:23, 21 December 2007 (EST)

heres a few pics.

It'd be nice if we could get scans (rather than photographs) of some of these images, or at least the ones for which we don't have good copies. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:57, 21 December 2007 (EST)

  • Wouldn't scans be illegal since you have to buy the book?--Riddler 15:06, 21 December 2007 (EST)
    • unfortunately i don't have a working scanner, but the only ones that we don't already have copies of, as far as i can tell, is DL phasing through nikki's chest, and a more complete version of peter's sketch of ted.Ehsteve23 06:35, 22 December 2007 (EST)
      • I've attempted to get slightly clearer images of these 2, if that helps at all, but it would be better of someone with the book would scan themEhsteve23 07:11, 22 December 2007 (EST)

9th Wonders!

On the 9th Wonders! covers in this book, it says they are published by Helix Comics. Should this be noted somewhere?--  Lost Soul   talk  contribs  09:33, 28 December 2007 (EST)

Any more volumes?

Anyone hear anything about whether there would be a volume 2 collection?--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:09, 11 June 2008 (EDT)
