It is based on unrealized potential, until a power is suggested to them, at which point that becomes their power (either temporarily or permanently.	Nikki was 'strong'. Everyone around her always described her as 'the strong one'. Tracy's power is that of ice, after being repeatedly called 'the ice queen.'	- This could have just been foreshadowing on the part of the writers in these cases
