Removing links

I'm not a fan of removing links. They don't hurt anything, and they can be helpful for users who have used the TOC or a section redirect. Yes, they're a bit redundant when the sections are as short as these are, but again, they aren't hurting anything.--Hardvice (talk) 23:45, 14 March 2007 (EDT)

Nathan

Now that we know that Nathan didn't die, I don't think his actions at the end of How to Stop an Exploding Man belong on the list. If it's later revealed that he intended to, we can add it back. Conduit 18:42, 29 September 2007 (EDT)

• He has to die to make a sacrifice? It may not be suicide (though the possibility of death was certainly greater for Nathan than it was for Claire when she jumped off the abandoned refinery), but it was certainly a sacrifice. I doubt he has the political career he once had, he sacrificed his relationship with his mother, his actions led him to give up his sobriety, and he seems to be even losing his mind. What Nathan did was most certainly a sacrifice. In fact, I was thinking about suggesting we change the picture to Nathan carrying Peter...but moreso because that picture of Eden is already used as the lead image for suicide. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:54, 29 September 2007 (EDT)
  • I agree we need to be careful to differentiate suicide and sacrifice; otherwise, we'd just have one article. I think the fact that we're all kind of hung up on sacrifice=death or near death is causing us to ignore some fairly poignant sacrifices the characters have made. How about the fact that the Bennets have given up their careers, their home, and even their identities to keep Claire safe? Nathan has sacrificed his career, his shot at the presidency, his marriage, his relationship with his mother, and his brother to prevent disaster.--Hardvice (talk) 20:13, 29 September 2007 (EDT)

Self-sacrifice?

Should this article be renamed to self-sacrifice? Because I think there are some instances where sacrificing others is included in the show (like Hiro dropping off Takezo at the temple, the company wanting to sacrifice half of NY for their plans). --Bob 17:56, 14 October 2007 (EDT)
