Wiki Question

Apologies for clogging up your discussion page, but I've searched the web high and low and can't find a guide anywhere with instructions on how you managed to make all the pages only partially transclude and show "For a complete summary, see the full article." after a certain length of time. For example the way {{:How To Stop An Exploding Man}} didn't put in the entire article. Again, I realize this isn't the appropriate place to ask but I'm going out of my mind! Thanks Failsafe 17:32, 29 May 2007 (EDT)

  • Hey there, I saw your question and I though I'd answer you directly on your talk page. The reason How to Stop an Exploding Man doesn't include the entire page when transcluded is because of the <noinclude> tags on the article's page. Anything between <noinclude> and </noinclude> will not be included when transcluded. Conversely, anything between the tages <includeonly> and </includeonly> will only be included when the page is transcluded. Hope that helps. Let me know if you have more questions. — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 17:51, 29 May 2007 (EDT)
