Welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you are new to Heroes, you might want to start at the New User Portal.
  • If you're not too familiar with editing Wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style.
  • If you're ready to get started, Template:Todo lists some ways you can help out.
  • Of course, if you have your own idea for a new article, that's great, too.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the Summary field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the Wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add ~~~~ or click the signature button.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to the end of your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for an administrator.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.

Once again, welcome to Heroes Wiki!

Shenkar

Um, you're not him by any chance, are you? Heroe!(talk) 20:13, 23 April 2007 (EDT)

Email

  • Hi, Shenkar. I received your email. To upload new images just click on "Upload file" at the bottom left. Then once it's uploaded you can use the following syntax to add it to an article: [[Image:Filename.jpg]]. If you're not familiar with how to place the images on the article in a certain place then don't worry, others will move the images around so they look good. If you have any other questions, just edit your talk page and ask them here so anyone will be able to help you out. Thanks! (Admin 23:09, 24 April 2007 (EDT))
    • Yes, this is a page on which you can reply. Let us know if you need any help. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:04, 25 April 2007 (EDT)
    • Yes, to reply just edit this page like Ryan and I just did. You can add questions/comments below our text and see how we're doing it as examples. (Admin 16:43, 25 April 2007 (EDT))

Main Portrait

Would you prefer the new image you uploaded as your portrait instead of the one we currently have for you? If so, I can take care of that for you. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:49, 6 August 2007 (EDT)

guess what?

I DID IT! I PUT UP THE PICTURE, HAHA!

  • Great job! I'm just going to standardize the image size for you and upload it over Image:Shenkar.jpg. That way, it will change the image wherever it appears (most notably at Shenkar and Portal:Art Department), and we won't have multiple images floating around that aren't being used or don't need to be there. :) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:27, 6 August 2007 (EDT)
