Can somebody in Canada see if the episode video has been updated?--Hardvice (talk) 23:35, 6 February 2007 (EST)

Unexpected Clips

There's a third clip at Yahoo! TV (Matt, Ted, and Hana) but I can't find a direct link to it.--Hardvice (talk) 18:18, 14 February 2007 (EST)

  • I found the clip of Ted, Hana, and Matt at iesb.net and updated it a couple hours ago....really cool scene. I'm glad to see them putting out this many traile clips this soon...should be even more later this week. --(HiroDynoSlayer-talk 04:06, 15 February 2007 (EST))

Company Man Clips

I purposefully marked (SPOILER) on the Bennet and Claude clip, (even though all previews are spoilers to some degree), this particular preview clip is highly SPOILER, so wanted to let everyone who might click on it have no doubts. (2.5 hours and counting.....tick, tock, tick, tock) --(HiroDynoSlayer-talk 17:06, 26 February 2007 (EST))

.07% Clips

Ugh, who is the terrible Malcolm McDowell impersonator they got to do the voiceover on the painting clips? I keep waiting for him to throw in an extraneous "dude" here and there. Oh, NBC ... I realize Malcolm's too big to have him sit around recording promos all day, but is that seriously the best you could do?--Hardvice (talk) 13:01, 4 April 2007 (EDT)

YouTube over NBC.com

Why would we replace an NBC.com clip with a YouTube version? YouTube's quality is crap, it's more likely to be blacklisted for people behind corporate firewalls, and the copyright is questionable. I think we should always prefer official sources for video clips over unofficial sources.--Hardvice (talk) 16:58, 12 April 2007 (EDT)

  • Personally, my browser's been crapping out on NBC's website. If someone does find the YouTube link, it'd be helpful not only to me, but also those who want to download the video to watch (.flv). NBC has removed some in the past, so that's probably why the rest of the links posted are YouTube pages.--Bob 17:01, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
    • The latest trailer that is available in My Space has terrible sound issues. The video quality is bad too. Stellatomailing 17:09, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
      • I agree with Hardvice in principle, but I've been having lots of problems with NBC's site. Stellatomailing brings up a good point, too. What if we gave users an option of both (when available)? Something simple like (YT) after the main link. Or, we could put the YouTube clips at the bottom (they don't necessarily need to be transcluded on the links page). — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 18:04, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
        • Here's the YouTube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCdW8JmskNE -Snyx 19:43, 12 April 2007 (EDT)
          • I think Ryan has the best solution with the 'YT' link to youtube after the official link (if one exists). That way, people can choose what is best for them. I know for me, YT is much easier, and doesn't have all of the add crap and extra banners and junk that accompany some of the official preview pages and sometimes the previews themselves. Just the clip, start-forward and ready for quick consumption. So, if I have a vote, I would say list the official clip first if available, and then follow it with a YT link for those who prefer that route. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 04/12/2007 21:27 (EST)
            • I just did this for the new Season Two primetime preview clip.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:57, 10 August 2007 (EDT)
  • The .07% Canadian Clip I just added is horrible in quality, but I haven't found a clear version of it yet. Better than nothing though. New scenes. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 04/18/2007 13:42 (EST)

Spoiler videos

Having a spoiler warning next to these videos does not mean we can post spoilers directly on this page--it means that the videos are spoilers. Having the names of people who appear in the video, for instance, is considered a spoiler, and should not be listed here (besides the fact that a list of characters who appear in a video is wholly unnecessary in a link to that very video). -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:42, 10 August 2007 (EDT)

Formatting of Preview clips

Can we go back to the list-style format we used all last season, instead of the 'new' paragraph style? This format is so much more difficult to read than how we did it last season, especially when we have alot of Previews going at one time. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 09/20/2007 11:16 (EST)

  • That's fine with me, but the names of the preview clips will have to be shortened considerably so they fit better on the list. I'll take care of that now. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:37, 20 September 2007 (EDT)

Higher quality previews

  • CBR has higher-res versions of the Four Months Later previews split into separate clips if somebody wants to change them out for the YouTube clip.--Hardvice (talk) 14:42, 20 September 2007 (EDT)
    • Good ol' CBR, they always provide such great stuff. I'm at work, and my video player won't work, so I can't make any of the changes, but I wholly support anything from CBR, especially if they're better quality and split up. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:50, 20 September 2007 (EDT)

First minutes of Four Months Later

  • Is this really of any value since it's also the last minutes of How to Stop an Exploding Man?--Hardvice (talk) 18:23, 20 September 2007 (EDT)
    • Golly, I never noticed that it was on there. I don't really mind, but you're right, it's kind of silly to have the end of an old episode listed. I'm assuming somebody put that on when there was nothing else to list? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 19:20, 20 September 2007 (EDT)

Hana clip

That's awesome.--Bob (talk) 02:45, 8 November 2007 (EST)

Cautionary Tales - American Clip who gets shot

They try to make it look like Bennet is shooting Mohinder, but if you freeze the frames, and watch carefully, you can see that it is Bob that is seated, with the gun in his face, not Mohinder. Bob wears similar glasses to Bennet....the painting shows the dead man wearing a checkered jacket...Benett isn't wearing a checkered jacket...looking for any screenshots of a checkered jacket. --HiroDynoSlayer (talk) 11/13/2007 11:25 (EST)

Powerless clips on CBR

I don't want to link those because a)there's a ton of them, and b)they reveal quite alot. So if someone disagrees, please discuss before posting. Thanks.--Bob (talk) 15:27, 28 November 2007 (EST)
