Emmy Noms

8 Emmy's is great! And I think Heroes has a good shot at winning most of if not all of their noms.--MiamiVolts (talk) 14:52, 19 July 2007 (EDT)

  • My predictions: Ugly Betty will take art direction. Lost will take best director. 24 or Heroes could take sound mixing or stunts (though my bet is on 24 for sound and Heroes for stunts). Editing is a toss-up between Heroes and Lost. Best supporting actor is a tough call--Michael Emerson is amazing, Masi Oka is a fan favorite, and T.R. Knight gets sympathy votes. Heroes will take best drama series and best visual effects. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:59, 19 July 2007 (EDT)
    • Unfortunately, The Sopranoes will get best series, just as most farewell seasons get. And Michael Emerson is absolutely amazing. But I wouldn't be suprised if Heroes got all the rest. ---- 01:20, 20 July 2007 (EDT)

Mistakes

  • (By the way, I emailed about the Heroes-related spelling mistakes on Emmys.com.) -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 15:06, 19 July 2007 (EDT)
    • The manager of the Emmys just got back to me. She said there was a computer glitch for anybody with a middle name/initial, where it stripped off their last names. It should be fixed within a day or two. She's also probably going to change Chris Martin's name to Christopher D. Martin, since that's how he's credited. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:46, 19 July 2007 (EDT)

SyFy Voting

Vote for your favorites at SyFy Portal. Heroes is nominated ten times in six categories. You can cast one vote per IP address per 24-hour period. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:11, 27 July 2007 (EDT)

Merge

This article needs to be merged and then deleted the same way that the article video on demand was done. --Pinkkeith 12:35, 10 October 2007 (EDT)

  • I don't agree. The only part of this article which is included on the Heroes article is the Wins section. Deleting this page would get rid of all the nominations. Adding the nominations to the Heroes article would be unnecessary in my opinion. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:44, 10 October 2007 (EDT)

TV Guide -- Online Video Awards

Go to TV Guide to vote for online video content. Heroes was nominated in three out of 18 categories: TV Show Site, Web Extras, and TV Drama Webisodes. Winners are announced on December 5. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:04, 27 October 2007 (EDT)

Changing the list into a chart

Is it possible for us to change this list into a chart? It's easier to read, takes less space and looks nicer. Plus, we can add the external links for the awards in the chart itself so we can delete the bulky "External Links" section. Chrisyu357 09:28, 18 July 2008 (EDT)

Oh yes! Much better! Given that no one has objected, I'd say go for it :) Pierre 07:52, 17 August 2008 (EDT)
It looks good. I would make two changes, though. First, the "Win" column needs to be renamed ("Result"?) and a key needs to be added if we use yellow or a slash as a symbol. (Though if you just put "Result" and then "Win" in the column, that pretty much takes care of the issue.) The other thing I would change is I would make it a sortable table. I think that means you would have to put the year separately for each entry, but I think it'd be cool to alternately see all the awards listed by year, by award type, by result, and even by who was nominated. That's just my opinion, though. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 14:39, 17 August 2008 (EDT)

People's choice awards

I voted... it takes about 10 minutes to register and vote (at least for me it did).--MiamiVolts (talk) 23:39, 13 November 2008 (EST)
