I know this is way too early to change the name of the page but I think it's a safe bet that Barbara's last name will end up being Zimmerman. That picture shows Zimmerman with his wife, children and dog. Mrs. Zimmerman first gave birth to their son The German. Then Mr. Zimmerman did the triplet experiment. Mrs. Zimmerman gave birth to Barbara and they raised her as their daughter (the triplets biological parents are probably company founders). Zimmerman is unsettled when he first meets Tracy because she looks exactly like the girl he has raised. --Meteor

Abilities

I removed Barbara from Category:Characters with Synthetic Abilities since we generally don't assume a character has any abilitites, synthetic or biological, until it is manifested or specifically stated. It even says "no known characters" in the infobox. Seems a bit odd that we should go by other rules when it comes to synth characters? --Pierre 12:02, 26 October 2008 (EDT)

  • I think the infobox is fine as it is. But if Dr. Zimmerman said he gave synthetic abilities to to Barbara, the category should stay. We're not saying the abilities have manifested yet, we're just saying she's a synth. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 12:27, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
    • Hm... OK... I won't say I'm agreeing, but I'm not insisting in having my way either, this time ;) --Pierre 12:32, 26 October 2008 (EDT)
      • Her power may be a mental one, 'cause Niki's was a phisicaly based one, her other sister Tracy's was more elemental, maybe her's will be like evolved human detection, mental manipulation, possibly even Ted's. it think that she will be able to inflict sensations of pain and tourment. Anybody else have ideas of what it could be?
    • I'm not sure we should list Barbara as evolved human and character with synthetic ability, not yet. While we know she was injected with the formula, we don't know if she manifested. Niki and Tracy were injected as babies too, and they only manifested quite later, we have no reason to believe Barbara also manifested. • I dunno, no one who's been injected has not manifested some kind of ability. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 12:02, 29 December 2008 (EST)
        • Still, we don't know if she manifested, listing her as an evolved human with an unknown ability is putting her in the same category as elephant man, difference being that we saw him with some unnatural characteristics, not something we have seen Barbara with. Siblings

Niki Sanders is her triplet sister. Jessica and Gina were not, they are aspects of Niki's multiple personality. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 10:52, 28 December 2008 (EST)

  • It is true that Jessica and Gina are simply personalities, but they are separate entities in that we give them their own pages. Further, there is no biological difference between the three, so all would technically be related to Tracy and Barabara (though Jessica Sanders (Niki's sister) would not be). This change was brought about by the fact that Tracy/Barbara were listed as siblings on Jessica's page, and Hal is listed as the father of Niki, Gina and Jessica. If multiple personalities get a father, I think they should get all relations listed, for consistency's sake. --Stevehim 12:39, 29 December 2008 (EST)
    • I don't think there's any need to list multiple personalities as siblings. We don't list all the future Peters as Nathan's brothers, and those are actually the same person. To keep it simple, we can just list the sister who was actually born at the same time as the other girls (Niki) and not the multiple personalities (Jessica and Gina) who manifested later in life. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 13:11, 29 December 2008 (EST)
      • Actually, we list Nathan as a sibling on every Peter's page. What is the criteria for listing relations? It seems very inconsistent to me to say that Hal is Jessica/Gina's father but not that Tracy and Barbara are their sisters. It also isn't technically correct to list no siblings on their pages, as they were genetically related to Tracy/Barbara as much as Niki was. Additionally, we can't really just scratch all relations, since Jessica had on-screen interactions with Hal, Micah and D.L. I also don't see why it makes things any more complicated (or what the harm is) to list the extra information, as it's not particularly confusing and takes up virtually no extra space in the infobox (especially on Gina's, as her page is virtually empty anyway). If this is the decision, I will need to go make changes on a bunch of pages, but I'd like to discuss this a bit before doing so, if possible. --Stevehim 19:44, 29 December 2008 (EST)
        • Nathan is listed because he is still Peter's brother, regardless of what time period it is. Namely, Nathan exists. Jessica and Gina do not. Or, alternatively, Jessica and Gina were never born. Jessica and Gina theoretically should have no relatives listed, as they are an aspect of Niki's personality. Micah has one mother, not three. --Ricard Desi (t,c) 21:30, 29 December 2008 (EST)
          • Jessica and Gina existed, though they were not born separate from Niki. We give them their own pages, and list Jessica as a discrete personality on the abilities page, and in a separate section on the enhanced strength page. I know that's because Jessica manifested the power first, but if she 'didn't really exist,' she shouldn't be listed separately. Rather, 'Niki/Jessica' and Niki (and by extension Jessica) would not be listed at all, and there would be no Jessica section (as it would be implied, same as here) and a simple note under Niki's section about how she was only able to access her power when her 'Jessica personality' was in control would be sufficient. As for Micah, he does have one mother, but she has three discrete personalities, and listing it with a '/' indicates that it's one person. Additionally, his mother isn't always Niki...sometimes it's Jessica, as we've seen onscreen, and is illustrated in numerous site references (eg - we don't say that Niki shot D.L.). My point is that it should be standard throughout the site. Either Jessica should not be listed anywhere other than a note about her having the power for most of season 1, or all of Niki's pertinent information should also be listed under Jessica. Since Jessica has her own page (and a rather detailed one at that), I feel the latter makes more sense. --Stevehim 21:51, 29 December 2008 (EST)
            • If i remember correctly, wasn't Jessica really her sister who was killed by her dad?Meesa yoda 21:57, 29 December 2008 (EST)
