Max McCarthy is a fictional character created by Heroes Wiki user Dylan Rabideau

Character History

Max McCarthy was a reletvily normal but eccentric young man who spent most of his time alone browsing the internet, but he did have a few close freinds including fellow Evolved Human unknown. after discovering he had the abiltiy to copy other peoples memories and skills he was found by Mr. Bennet and after a long talk (where max was somwhat misled to bealive he would be a hero saving peoples lives) reluctantly joined The Company

Evolved Human Abilities

Max posseses the evolved human ability of Copying which allows him to duplicate the knowledge, skills and (in the case of an evolved human) abilities of another person by making pysical contact with them. Max has shown that while memories and skills stay retained in his mind, abilities are mutch harder to hold on to and are eventualy forgoten. A noticeble side effect of Max's ability is the fact that whatever powers he copies seem distorted and different then there original conterparts. for example after absorbing Pyrokinesis from unknown the fire he created was a sickly green color. Mr. Bennet has theorized that this change occurs because Max's own personality "corrupts" the ability itself.
