Dylan LaRue is a high school student with a penchant for mischief living in upstate New York. He is an evolved human with the ability to manipulate visible light.
Character History
Origin
Dylan LaRue's life was like any normal teenager's untill the day he discoverd he was an evolved human. after felling sick with stomach pains and a headach andrew began emitting a strange orange glow and then, seconds later he realesed a bright wave of light from his body. that was when his parents reveiled that Dylan was "special" just like them. (possesing invisibility and telekinesis respectivly).
Taking Notice
After discovering his new found ability Dylan's attitude becomes noticably different, no longer a shy loner he begins interacting more at school and becoming quite a misfit. His relationshipe with his parents becomes renewed as they expirance there life as an evolved family.
The Target
Dylan's use of his ability begins rasing flags on the company's scanners so agents are sent to dylan's town to find the source of the disturbnace. durring there investigation the agents discover dylan is an evolved human and proced to capture him durring the confrontation Dylan's father escapes but his mother is shot and goes comatose. Bob Bishop then emerges and promises to help her if Dylan cooperates.
Solitude
Confined to a cell Dylan is told by Bob that his mother is stable and that the reason he is in this cell is because the last person with powers similar to him neerly destroyed all of New York. broken and distraught Dylan lays in his cell pondering his mothers status. meenwhile Dylan's father has escaped to manhatten where he looks for someone to help him save his son.
Evolved Human Abilities
Dylan posseses the evolved human ability to manipulate photons. which allows him to controle the visible light spectrum of radiation. Through practice he has gained a moderate controle over his ability and has used it for numerous purposes such as creating a bright explotion to use as a distraction, generating destructive radioactive blasts, and even making a colorfull firework-like display. Dylan seems able to see perfectly in pitch black conditions as he is able to magnify the light entering his pupils he also seems uneffected by intense brightness and may infact be unblindable.
