Claude's last name
Actually, Claude has said his name. In the first episode we see him, he says to Peter, "I'm Claude Rains, the invisible man!". Heroe!(talk) (contribs) 21:47, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
- Clearly just a joke. Especially since Eccelston has said "Claude" doesn't have a last name. IceHunter 22:01, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
- It may be both a joke and his real name. Claude's full name, Claude Rains, could be a reference placed in by the writers. The writers have said that all the names in Heroes hold significance. Since this is a canonical source for his full name, I think we should use it. If we say jokes are fake, then Hiro's name, being a pun for "hero", isn't his real name. Kirby Plaza, named after Jack Kirby, is a fake name. Those are just a few off the top of my head, but you get the idea. If the writers name a character "Christopher Reeves", people will start jumping up and claiming that it was a joke when it probably is a reference, something to honor that person.--Ice Vision 22:23, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
- Wow, Ice vs. Ice.... I agree Vision, until something else is revealed, we go with what's been said on screen (real-world reference or not)... Of course, I'm a bit partial to references that honor real people. :) — RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 22:40, 15 May 2007 (EDT)
