Number
I'm not sure this is considered Issue #174. I haven't bought it yet, but I think they're starting the numbers over again. Not sure how to handle that here... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 23:05, 7 October 2015 (EDT)
Where is it Available?
It should say in the article where it is available. Is it online? in stores? only at conventions? I will try to find info later if no one else puts it in. -Lөvөl 13:04, 8 October 2015 (EDT)
- It's not online. I think you can get it in stores like Books-A-Million, and I imagine at other stores too ... but I haven't checked and I'm not sure. I've seen a few reviews for it already, and every article mentions that it was released yesterday (except for BAM, which will ship it later, I guess)... -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 16:56, 8 October 2015 (EDT)
- You can get an online version on Comixology. I have found several stores that carry it and put the links in the article. -Lөvөl 17:14, 8 October 2015 (EDT)
- Thanks for posting this link! I'm surprised that, as a UK resident, I was able to buy and open it from there. Now, if only there was some way for me to access the BNW eBook... -Kon (talk) 17:42, 8 October 2015 (EDT)
- Thanks for the link. They really don't make it easy to find, do they? -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:25, 8 October 2015 (EDT)

Title
In most of the stores it is titled as Heroes: Vengeance #1, do we want to go with Heroes: Vengeance, Part 1, or just Vengeance, Part 1, or something else? -Lөvөl 17:32, 8 October 2015 (EDT)
- I vote we go with "Vengeance, Part 1", and then make a disambig article for the Vengeance issues like From the Files of Primatech. -Kon (talk) 17:42, 8 October 2015 (EDT)
- Yep, totally agree. -- RyanGibsonStewart (talk) 21:24, 8 October 2015 (EDT)
- I think it might be a good idea to not put this under the Graphic Novels section, but to create a Comics section. I always thought NBC misused the term "graphic novel" when referring to their weekly comics, but I haven't seen anyone anywhere call these Vengeance comics "graphic novels".

- I also think that a better title for this comic would be Heroes Vengeance #01, as that is what the comic is labeled on the front cover.
- As for the covers, the red and white one (currently second in the HeroesWiki article, created by Paul Pope) was only used for an ashcan comic from San Diego Comic Con 2015 (not for Issue #01). The ashcan comic includes six pages from Vengeance #01 in black and white (like the three in the "Previews" section), as well as the "A Brave New World" article from the first issue of Heroes Reborn: Event Series — The Official Magazine. About the magazine, the ashcan also reveals that "Issue One hits stores on September 29, and Issue Two on December 1."
- Side story: I went to my local bookstore on September 29th (as both the ashcan and the official Titan Magazine website say that the magazine would be released that day) and searched for the magazine. It was not on the shelves, and three store employees told me that they did not have it. The next day, I read on comicbook.com that the magazine would be released on October 6th. I went back to the book store on October 6th and found the magazine. I asked the guy currently stocking the magazines if he had just stocked that particular magazine. He did not seem to think so, so he scanned the bar code. The date came up as September 27 (not the 29th). I was a bit confused that the scanner said that the store had the magazine when I was in there the week before, but I was so happy that they had the magazine that I walked away. Then I thought to myself, "If they had the magazine on the 27th instead of the 29th, maybe they will have the comic early as well (as the comic was due out October 7th.)." I went back to the rack, and sure enough, the comic was there! I asked the man if he had just put that comic out, to which he said he did, but still scanned the comic, which said October 6th (again, not 7th despite every single source I have seen saying October 7th). I still think October 7th is the correct date to put on the article for Issue #01. I'm guessing my store just put it out a day early.
- Here are some links to ebay images (and wherever else I could find them) showing the bar codes and extra info not on the art covers. There are three main covers. The first cover by Paul Pope is Cover 1 of 3. The cover by Rubine is Cover 2 of 3. The blank cover from the Comic Book Resources article (not currently on the HeroesWiki article page) is Cover 3 of 3.
- The other seven covers are all exclusive to the particular retailers and do not have "Cover X of X" on the front. Here are some other links of possible interest. Larry's Comics page for the color cover and for the black and white cover (black and white limited to 500). The Books-A-Millions cover. The Forbidden Planet cover. A post on October 7, 2015 on the Gifts for the Geek Facebook page says that their exclusive cover is limited to 1000. --Heroes360 (talk) 22:06, 12 October 2015 (EDT)
Spoilers?
The release date for Vengeance is listed as November 1st in some places, but I was able to buy it online and there are a few reports of it arriving at stores in the US. So, would it be okay for me to add info from this comic to the wiki, or should I wait until the release is more... widespread? -Kon (talk) 17:42, 8 October 2015 (EDT)
