Usutu is a new character for Volume Three.

- 9/16 -- NEW! According to TV Guide, Usutu's ability will be to paint prophetically. His paintings will be created by real-life artist Tim Sale.
- 6/10 -- According to the new IMDB cast list, One of Us, One of Them and The Year of Our Lord will include new character Usutu.
Fan Theories
- The German's cousin, Karl Lander Platz, will be a featured character in the second three-part webisode. Matt will be recruited by Interpol go to Germany for an investigation. After unsuccessfully trying to take down some thieves, he will wind up alone in the middle of an African desert on a horse with no name. Once there, he'll follow the path of a desert tortoise to find water and will run into Usutu.
- Usutu is a precog. He paints the future on boulders and cave walls.
