Danko originally had abilities, but had a bad experience with other posthumans and ultimately had his abilities stolen by Arthur Petrelli. Danko is going to use the operation's exposure in Exposed to turn the population against evolved humans once their existence is revealed - and then turn them against Nathan stating he is trying to stop evolved humans being contained. Then he will gain control of operations in Washington.	Danko has been shown to take control of things for himself as of Exposed.	+ He has been shown as keen to take matters into his own hands. + He did not seem bothered about the government plans being exposed, perhaps he feels they would be to the team's advantage.
