In Season 2, Niki's third identity was Gina. She was shown taking drugs in a club or bar when DL went to go find her. Her new ability is freezing, indicating that Niki's real power (and thus also Tracy's) could be superior adaptability. To protect herself from a fiery death, she develops the ability to freeze things. • She also developed the ability of strength to protect herself from her father. Also, multiple personality disorder is usually a psychological defense mechanism, so there might be some connection to her changing powers and her mental state. Furthermore, it has been stated that heightened emotions do manifest the abilities, DL had to calm her down to get her to become Niki again. - Mohinder recently said that powers manifest based upon blood chemistry. Niki has the same blood no matter which personality it is.
