This wiki is a XML full dump clone of "Heroes Wiki", the main wiki about the Heroes saga that has been shut down permanently since June 1, 2020. The purpose of this wiki is to keep online an exhaustive and accurate database about the franchise.
Fan Creation talk:Incidental Heroes
I'm not sure how the cast of your fiction should have their own page. I'm talking about Mackenzie Perrin or Shawn.. But I'm not very aware about how the fan things works... so, any sysop? --FrenchFlo(talk)(contribs) 10:15, 24 February 2007 (EST)
- My preference for now would be to keep all info about the show and its characters on a single Incidental Heroes page. This is afterall a wiki for Heroes and not necessarily for Incidental Heroes. :) So I'm not sure if all the Incidental Heroes info should be spread onto multiple pages, though I'm welcome to suggestions. - I've consolidated the info onto a single Incidental Heroes page. My concern is that if we create multiple pages then as the story expands it may be tempting to create a large number of articles for the show which would dilute somewhat (albeit very minimally) the purpose of the wiki which is primarily to document Heroes itself and secondarily to document Heroes-related topics. If multiple fan-produced series are documented then it could really start to get confusing if we split the info for a particular series out over multiple articles. I think for fan fiction it's in our best interests to draw a line on how many pages to create for a given topic and, at least for now, it seems that the line is best drawn per fan fiction topic. If the show continues to expand we can discuss how to best represent it here, but I think for now a single page on Incidental Heroes is good. (Admin 13:01, 24 February 2007 (EST))
- I saw that the Mackenzie page was up for deletion so I moved her image over to the IHeroes page. I created that other page only because Thanks again for letting me create a page here. I can't tell you how excited I am!!! I am linking from my youtube directors account page to here and hopefully it will drive some traffic to you guys. Also, I just added a link to IHeroes from the fan created portal page. Hope that's ok...? Otherwise no one would be able to find it.

I have a question: How do you feel about embedding the video episodes into the page? I get the code from YouTube and then your visitors can watch the episodes without leaving the site. Let me know. Thanks!
- Probably not a good idea. A link to the YouTube subscribe page to I-Heroes should be alright. I tried searching for info regarding Grunberg's agent to see if there was some way to get Grunberg & the I-Heroes people to do a power lunch or something, but can't make any headway. -- ZachsMind 17:19, 28 February 2007 (EST)
